Our church has an ice cream truck that is used around town as an evangelistic tool.  The church gives away the ice cream and it has been amazing how spiritual conversations begin because the usual posture of the church is to ask for something, not give away something.  1 John 3:16 says, " We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our life for the brethren."  These days the world has to see the gospel a lot of time before it is ready and willing to hear the gospel.  As the church reaches out to care for one another we show the gospel through the God given spiritual talents.  I love to observe the church ministering to each other. It is terrific to see Go's people discover gifts that they didn't know they had come forth.  "We love because He first loved us." 1 John 4:19  The Christian life is moving from john 3:16 to 1 John 3:16....Love is a verb...to God be the glory...
