So, this week Kris is leading a group to Brooklyn, New York. The church makes this trip about 2 times a year, sometimes more. They stay at a dorm type place called The Dean Center in Brooklyn. There are 20 or so going with the group, all ages, mostly moms and dads and Grandparents. Many of the group have never been on a mission trip before, so it is exciting to see them discover gifts that the Lord has given them that they might not know they have. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, love and of self discipline." God gives us a spirit of power because He doesn't expect us to serve Him in our own strength. He gives us courage and recalls Scripture when we are obedient to share with others in Holy boldness. I pray that many will show holy boldness this week to share with the Big Apple what God has done in their life. They will be doing a Bible School at night, serving the homeless, soup with New York Relief in the parks, sharing with the Jewish community in Manhattan, prayer stations in Grand Central Station, and any other divine appointments. Please pray for the group, and me as I hold the fort...
