That's Why We Pray...

The 3rd grade girls wanted to have a skate-a-thon to raise money for a well in Kenya.  The kids could walk or skate.  Molly chose to skate which is no surprise because most days around the house she skates everywhere, but our house is carpeted so I didn't know how she would fare on the gym floor, but she rocked it!  She even went up a flight of stairs wearing her skates! Scary!  She raised $50.00 for the well.  We will find out Wednesday how much was raised totally.  It is amazing how when God's people pray, the doors of Heaven open wide.  Molly had been praying for a rabbit for a pet.  One day while I was at Smith Elementary, a teacher found out that a girl in her class was allergic to rabbits and she was going to have to get rid of her class pet rabbit named Pokey.  Guess who now has a pet rabbit named Pokey?!?  He is litter box trained and gets along great with Maddie dog.  He jumps up in your lap.  Molly and Caitlyn have even put him in a pink doll dress without protest.  Bunk beds, now rabbit, Molly's answered prayers...I think I need to give her a list of stuff to pray about..."Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart." Colossians 4:2
Molly's pink skates!

Abigail, Tiffany, and Molly the 1st grade girl team!

Molly was zooming so fast I couldn't catch her pic...

Molly used her crayola black marker to make this white bunny Christmas ornament look like Pokey...The marker comes off in your hand...

Molly wrote why they don't celebrate Christmas in Antartic..".Because people don't live there"... the penguin is saying "I Would" with a pinata... made me smile!

Meet Pokey...Molly's answered prayer...
