vacation is having to get away...

This week 17 of our youth from FBC Wylie are apart of Mission lab from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  They are doing various projects from cleaning up the 9th ward, homeless ministries, and playing Bingo in a local nursing home.  It is awesome to think about the adults who are using their vacation time from work to invest in God's kingdom and the lives of these young people.  It is beautiful to watch.  Our family came to New Orleans to have fun a few days and encourage and join them in their efforts.

Here I Am to Say that Your My God...

      God is really doing some exciting things in our church and community for His glory.  On Good Friday, our community and churches are coming together at the Wylie football stadium for a worship service.  Tony Evans from Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship is going to be the featured speaker.  All the churches are pitching in to help.  These pictures are from the launch luncheon where we began by praying and praising God for this upcoming service.  Please pray for us as we prepare.  I'm so excited to see how God is moving.

Refuel Weekend at our church. (Disciple Now)  4 churches came together for a great weekend of discipleship, service, and worship.  Sam did a great job and 400+ participated along with a leadership team from ETBU

Wake Up My Little Suzy

Molly had her first girl's lockin  last Friday night at the church.  They played a game in the dark with flash lights mimicking the underground church in China.  The 6th grade girls were the police trying to break up the people going to meet together.  It was a great object lesson. there were 123 girls and 147 all together with the adults.  I had a squeaky cot and got shushed a lot through the night.. I'm still tired.
